We're Hiring! UPS Marketing Communications Specialist
Feltham, West London
UPS is the world's largest package delivery company – with a strong and recognizable brand, and a legendary reputation for great service. Could you promote and protect our brand as a Marketing Communications Specialist based in our Marketing Department in Feltham, West London?
You'll help drive a whole host of external communications projects for the UK and Ireland from social media, customer communications, and sales enablement to PR. As part of the role, you'll need to be comfortable managing external agencies and suppliers to develop and execute compelling content for use across various channels. You'll also liaise with internal departments including our European Head Office and Corporate Head Office to ensure consistency from a branding, tone of voice and messaging perspective.. Some travel within the UK will be involved.

What you'll do
•Manage the content calendar for UPS UK and Ireland social channels – this includes content creation and posting
•Ensure all external communications projects are communicated to sales and other teams
•Develop external communications materials for our sales teams and other groups
•Be the brand guardian and ensure that the UPS brand is correctly presented in all external communications
•Manage customer requests for use of the UPS brand
•Take on regular proofreading and website testing tasks to ensure content is relevant for our market
•Provide support on PR activities such as press releases and speaking opportunities
•Provide support on ad hoc communications projects

What you'll need
•A degree, preferably in Marketing Communications, Marketing or English
•Some experience working in a marketing or marketing communications setting
•Excellent communication skills to be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
•Fantastic people skills as you will regularly liaise with various stakeholders
•To be self-motivated, flexible, good with your time and able to multi-task – we're a small team working in a fast-paced environment
•Excellent proofreading skills that show an eagle eye for detail
•To be creative as you will be responsible for developing engaging content for an external audience
•Strong knowledge of PowerPoint, Word and MS Excel
•Familiarity with design packages such as Publisher or Photoshop is a plus.
•Fluency in English – any additional European languages would be great too
