About this role:
The Principal Security Architect, Information Security Identity Access Management (IAM), supports I.S. Leadership by planning and championing the execution of broad initiatives aimed at delivering security services, policies, procedures, standards, best practices, and solutions. This position defines the security technical direction for individual projects and solution architecture across multiple initiatives and system areas. This position collaborates to ensure enterprise-wide legal, regulatory, policy, and contractual compliance.
The Principal Security Architect (IAM) develops Information Services (I.S.) strategy, initiatives, and governing policies for technical and physical risk management and associated architecture to protect UPS's information assets. He/She creates architecture solutions, builds consensus, manages risks and security projects, develops enterprise security strategies, and addresses highly complex security issues. This position directs the evaluation of products and procedures to enhance security and enable functionality that changes the risk posture of the organization.
- Bachelors' degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security or related field
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or other industry recognized information security certification required
- Advanced understanding in the following areas: Access Management, Directory Services, Privileged Access Management (PAM), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), Cloud Native Authentication Solutions, Cryptography, Data Protection Services, Federated Identities and Security Architectures
- 7 years of IT experience, preferably as an Architect
- Master's degree
