Job Description:


Ready for a technology role where you have the freedom to make the right calls and make a difference? At UPS, you'll get to know and understand all the varying tech needs of our customers, teams and associates. You'll install, integrate and troubleshoot increasingly innovative systems. And every now and then, you may need to engage in technical disaster recovery – but you'll be all the more valued for your ability to do so. Because with all this responsibility comes rewards.

General activities include:

  • Delivering first-class hardware and software planning, performs network management and administration, and provides technical advice and training to customers.
  • Coordinating installation, deployment and upgrading of UPS approved software, hardware and infrastructure.
  • Troubleshooting technology issues in a way that restores the right standard of service in the shortest timeframe.
  • Managing the tech requirements of special programs and projects.
  • Performing regular IT audits in multiple locations (i.e. UPS facilities, vendor facilities, and customer locations).

What does it take to keep one of the world's biggest and best shipping and logistics companies running?

  • Bachelor's Degree in tech-based area
  • A+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate
  • CCENT Cisco Network Certification
  • Clean Driving License is essential
  • Out of Hours support may also be required
