JOB SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, the Sr. Administrative Assistant position supports the research enterprise of Neonatology. Primary duties include  proficiency in COEUS, EndNote, and eStar scheduling. Performs administrative and business support related duties of a complex nature in support of an area with minimal guidance. 

 


Department/Unit Summary:

The Mildred Stahlman Division of Neonatology at Children's Hospital is ranked one of the top programs in the nation for the care of critically ill newborns and premature babies. Our support also extends to the entire family. We encourage parents and families to ask questions and take an active part in caring for their baby in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

More than 1,400 babies are admitted each year to our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Our neonatologists provide services at Children's Hospital, Maury Regional Medical Center, Tennova Healthcare Clarksville and Jackson-Madison County General Hospital

Additional Key Elements/ Responsibilities: 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Website design and maintenance
  • Support for grant and manuscript submission involving use of COEUS and EndNote
  • Additional duties include occasional backup for eStar activities for Neo, coordinate research enterprise lectureships and symposiums, coordinate research faculty recruitment activities

 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Performs a variety of administrative support which may include, but not limited to, scheduling, booking travel and budget reconciliation.
  • Ensures data/records are created and maintained to document financial, planning, correspondence, procedures, processes and other information.
  • Compiles data, analyzes information and summarizes findings in support of an area.
  • Prepares reports and other documentation as requested.
