Veritude is looking for a Transaction Processor at Fidelity Investments. This position is based in Smithfield, RI.

The Fidelity Benefits Consulting Group is comprised of over 300 professionals who help clients solve complex (or simple) problems. We offer a broad range of services that touch on every area of benefits design, strategy, funding, communication and delivery. Most of us come from other leading consulting firms and all have experience in multiple industries. We focus on large companies (more than 5000 employees) but have many valued relationships with much smaller organizations.

The Benefits Consulting Administrative Solutions (AS) group provides customized Defined Benefit administrative solutions for each of our clients. The Transaction Processing Specialist will work with other specialists, analysts, and managers to provide plan administration services for our clients.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Process transactions including address changes, EFT changes, and withholding updates for Retirees
  • Reconciling payments for new Retirees
  • Review paperwork for new Retirees to determine if it is In Good Order or Not In Good Order (IGO/NIGO)
  • Ensure all items are processed and/or resolved in a timely manner by managing assigned and personal XTRAC queues
  • Provide support for special projects such as de-risking
  • Support business by ensuring positive audit results
  • Comply with all operational procedures, client policies, and Federal/State/Local regulations
  • Escalate issues to the Analyst and/or Manager which may be of risk or concern
  • Interact with the internal and external clients to streamline processing and ease plan administration for our clients
  • Recommend continuous improvement ideas to increase efficiency and/or reduce risk
  • Train back up associates

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification preferred
  • Experience in financial services or high volume transaction processing experience preferred
