Responsibilities
The Move-In Coordinator/Sales Assistant creates a comfortable and welcoming environment for prospective and
current residents in the sales office and communicates and coordinates with other departments
and works closely with prospective residents, new residents, and transferring residents to
ensure smooth move-ins and transitions.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintains Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, including reporting.
- Maintains apartment inventory reports, pricing lists and pricing history; keeps all
information current on move-ins, transfers and apartment availability. - Manages depositor application process to ensure files are completed and processed in a
timely manner. - Assists in planning and execution of marketing events.
- Maintains file of competitor advertisements and submits copies to corporate marketing.
- Coordinates local direct mail production and provides prospect lead list to corporate
marketing to ensure accurate, timely and cost effective mailings. - Manages the national Do Not Call list following correct procedures per company policy
and government regulations. - Provides administrative/clerical support to facilitate timely sales; reviews resident
paperwork for accuracy and prepares resident files. - Manages collateral inventory to assure the sales office has an ample supply and
purchases materials in a timely and cost-effective manner. - Facilitates the apartment turnover meetings to ensure quality of apartment readiness and
timely move-in. - Assists residents and family members with moving process to accelerate move-in date;
notifies department heads regarding potential obstacles that could delay move-in date. - Shows apartments to residents and family members for internal transfers and prepares
new lease agreement. - Assists new residents and internal transfers with measurements, floor plan and furniture
placement; informs maintenance department of any upgrades or changes that need to be
made. - Maintains resource file to assist residents regarding moving-related services.
- On moving day, coordinates with movers regarding building access and familiarizes
new resident (s) with e-call. - Assists with implementation of move-in orientation program prior to move-in, as
appropriate.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required, Associate's Degree
is preferred. - Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of administrative support experience is required.
Experience with providing/coordinating services for others is preferred. Customer
Relationship Management (CRM) software experience is preferred.
Pay Range
USD $20.96 - USD $26.20 /Hr.
