Description

Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration (LCR):

  • Active Certified Ophthalmic Assistant required if less than 1 YOE or Certified Ophthalmic Technician certification (highly preferred)

Preferred Education, Skills, and Experiences:

  •       High School Diploma / GED required
  •       Active COA required if less than 1 YOE / COT certification (highly preferred)
  •       Experience working at an eye care facility
  •       Travel with provider to satellite clinics may be required to provide support and assist with patient care.  Our traveling technicians travel approximately 2-3 days per week as needed.  Our off-site locations are Madison, Franklin, Lebanon, Skyline, Tullahoma, Murfreesboro, Lawrenceburg, and Bellevue along with our Main Campus location. 

  • Physical Requirements/Strengths needed & Physical Demands:
     
    • Light Work category requiring exertion up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and uses negligible amounts of force to move objects.
