Description


High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) and < 1 year Graduation from ASHP accredited technician training program, or six months prior experience.

Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration (LCR):

  • Registered Pharmacy Technician Required


Additional Qualification Information:

  • Tennessee Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration must be obtained within 90 days of employment. PTCB/CPT National Pharmacy Technician Certification. Per Pharmacy Department policy, all new hires are subject to pre-employment drug screening (post offer), as well as for cause and random drug screening during their tenure with Vanderbilt.

  • Medium Work category requiring exertion up to 50lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 20 of force frequently and/or up to 10 of force continually to move objects.
