Position Summary: The Cook/Baker is under the direct supervision of the Production Coordinator. He/she prepares, seasons, and cooks food for patients, employees, and visitors according to specific diets, standardized menus and recipes; while generating eye appeal. The Cook/Baker is under the direct supervision of the Production Coordinator. He/she prepares, seasons, and cooks and bakes food for patients, employees, and visitors according to specific diets, standardized menus and recipes; while generating eye appeal. The position consists of Prep Cooking for Grab N Go Salads and Sandwiches and assembly of such. It also includes baking of cakes, brownies, cookies on a daily basis for a basic dessert line and baking of specialty cakes and desserts a few times a year for high end catering functions (bread puddings, specialty pies and cakes, cheesecakes, etc)

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Licensure/Certification: Not applicable.

Experience: Two years experience in food service cooking and basic understanding of food service sanitation preferred.

Skills: Requires good communication skills
