The Strategic Solutions team focuses exclusively on delivering cross sell opportunities globally for US processing, Paymetric, and for international needs of legacy Vantiv customers.
The Strategic Solutions Business Development Manager will be dedicated to developing new accounts and expanding accounts with clients and partners already on board with Worldpay. By focusing in on an established geographic region, he/she will be able to target areas for growth by reviewing and analyzing business trends in the location. He/she will also make an impact on Worldpay's growth by working with established customers and clients to find new solutions for their evolving needs in our catalog of products and services.
In the individual contributor role you will work with the leadership team to develop BD colleagues and peers in their sales and payments expertise via mentoring / coaching approach on live BD cross-sell opportunities. You will deliver complex consultative sales solutions in partnership with Worldpay Relationship Management and Business Development teams to execute cross-sell income targets.
In this role you will build, maintain and close identified cross-sell opportunities per named account.
Also part of the role is providing thought leadership on Strategic Solutions priorities, customer messaging, and value proposition development in partnership with SVP of Strategic Solutions, Business Development, Marketing, Sales Enablement.

- Responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory.
- Distinguished by additional specialized knowledge in breadth and/or depth, as well as record of success in sales.
- Viewed as an expert in the field.

- Has expert level knowledge of company products and services and may be tasked with introducing new products.
- Responsible for selling the company's products or services as well as developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts.
- Assigned to large, complex, high-visibility, strategic or tactically important accounts.
- Typically requires 4+ years of sales experience.
- Experience delivering complex consultative sales solutions in partnerships with Relationship Management and Business Development teams
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in digital content and retail merchants strongly preferred
