About the role
The Chief Architect (CA) will be a technical Cisco Network Subject Matter Expert (SME). You will be a recognized technical thought leader, capable of ‘big picture thinking' on a solution area/category, with substantive depth on a few core technical/solution elements. You will bring technical credibility to accounts, present solutions to customers and bring Pre-Sales and go-to-market support to strategic accounts.

Annual compensation: $185K USD


What you'll be doing

  • Partners with business leaders to deliver resources and services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values.
  • Provide deep subject matter expertise and have the desire and ability to complete tactical work.
  • Provide technical marketing, thought leadership and related support.
  • Define and deliver the Go to Market (GTM) strategy by creating relevant design documentation and proposals
  • Engage in key accounts, develop credibility and help build out technical solutions.
  • Stay current on technical solutions in support of specific vendors
  • Engage with assigned vendors.
  • Coordinate with Customer Acquisition Engineer (CAE) from the various engineering practices to build out Statement of Work (SOW) around large scale/complex projects.
  • Create in-depth technical design documentation and corresponding documents (Statement of Work (SOW), Level of Effort (LOE), and Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Provide training internally for new solutions advancement
  • Engage and work closely with key vendors

What you have

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS) or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of presales solutioning experience (prior delivery experience is a plus)
  • Expert level certifications such as CCIE-R/S, CCIE or JNCIE and professional level security certifications a plus.
  • Experience designing & deploying complex architectures.
  • Experience interacting with highly technical customer/vendor/peer engineers, engineering managers and C-Level staff.
  • Experience leading whiteboarding & design sessions.
  • Technical presales experience.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • SME around discrete technologies (e.g. networks, systems, cloud, etc.).
  • Passionate about Technology.
  • Proficient presentation and Pre-Sales skills.
  • Comfortable with public speaking (e.g. conferences, etc.).
  • Comfortable leading design discussions
  • Deep expertise in vendors technologies.
  • In-depth understanding of service lifecycle.
  • Thought Leader.
