Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Business Management, Finance, or related discipline. 

Work Experiences:

  • 10+ years of experience in software development, configuration and implementation of complex application architectures.
  • 8+ years of experience with financial systems, preferably Oracle Fusion, EPM, (ARCS, FCCS, EPBCS, EDMCS), and OIC cloud solutions. 
  • 3 years of experience in Retail. 
  • Technical and functional expertise demonstrated with financial system implementations and customizations. 
  • Solid experience developing high-performance teams, processes, and technical solutions. 
  • Experience in architecting and deploying enterprise solutions. 
  • Managerial experience in leading, coaching, and mentoring developers, business analysts and solution architects establishing standards, best practices, etc. 
  • Experience developing and recommending long term strategic roadmaps in support of long-term vision as well as short-term backlog management for financial systems 
  • Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions from concept to implementation. 
  • Change Management experience preferred. 
  • Experience in developing processes and architecting solutions for accounting and financial planning.   
  • Experience with data integration, security, SOX compliance, SOD, cloud, and on-prem solutions. 
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and hybrid methodologies for solution delivery. 
  • Expert knowledge of development, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management across multiple platforms (cloud and on-premises). 
  • AI experience preferred.

Skills:

  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team. 
  • Ability to remain organized, pay strict attention to detail, and meet critical deadlines within a high-volume, fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent analytic skills with the ability to dive deep and provide analysis consistently on system performance and business impact. 
  • Solid technical and functional experience with exposure to package implementation and customization. 
  • Strategic vision for improving business outcomes, including planning and execution of enterprise-wide financial systems initiative aligned with business growth 
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with individuals at various levels, both internal and external. 
  • Strong problem-solving abilities for issue identification, creative resolution, troubleshooting, and optimization. 
  • Strong Microsoft Office program experience, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. 
  • Experience with SOX and other regulatory compliance. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of enterprise financial solutions, including operational databases, data flows, financial systems, and external data sources. 
  • Develop and maintain short-term priorities and long-term vision for financial systems with business and IT leadership. 
  • Drive cross-functional alignment between financial systems, stakeholder business units, and IT partners to support transformation 
  • Represent IT in initiative steering committees and strategic planning forums 
  • Lead and manage solution development for financial applications and solutions, including in-house team members and vendor resources/deliverables. 
  • Design and build conceptual solutions and proof of concepts wherever applicable. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, and product owners to define initiative scope, objectives, and requirements. 
  • Resource planning to ensure successful solution delivery. 
  • Lead effort/work breakdown structure and estimation for all initiatives. 
  • Establish trust and build relationships with stakeholders in IT, Finance, Accounting, Treasury, and other functional areas. 
  • Lead Developers, solution architects, BAs, and Project Managers through the delivery of well-designed, scalable, and robust solutions. 
  • Provide expertise and recommend solutions to complex processes and technical issues. 
  • Formalize standards and best practices for development, deployment, monitoring, and stakeholder management. 
  • Lead, evaluate, and recommend emerging technologies and options for innovation to advocate for and maintain the product backlog and roadmap. 
  • Manage tasks with attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring high-quality deliverables. 
  • Develop a thorough understanding of company policies, procedures, and safety rules as they relate to AI and data governance. 
  • Responsibilities may change; team members may be required to perform other tasks as assigned. 
  • Champion SOX / SOD best practices. 
  • Oversee the lifecycle of Financial Systems. 
  • Drive innovation by exploring new industry best practices. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven automation and business process optimization. 
  • Mentor and develop talent within the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and experimentation. 
  • Partner with Enterprise Architecture, vendors and external experts to evaluate and implement cutting-edge technologies.
