We are looking for a Manager for the Financial Accounting Services team based in Székesfehérvár, Hungary who will lead the team to handle core responsibilities for Alcoa Corp. Leading your team, you know your accounting principles and the full accounting process end to end, fixed assets, project accounting and T&E services for the Hungary and US team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the end-to-end Financial Shared Services processes for Europe and the United States which includes direct reports responsible for General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, Travel & Expense and Global Intercompany in Hungary and the U.S.
• Monitor the activities of the FAS teams to manage priorities.
• Build strong business partnership with Finance, Procurement, HR and other BU and Corporate customers globally to continuously improve customer satisfaction – ensure shared services objectives align with customer priorities and communicate to customers and internally on achievements.
• Drive standardization across processes to achieve world class operations
• Responsible for the controllership responsibilities for the Alcoa Hungary legal entity, including statutory reporting, tax, balance sheet and P&L fluctuation analysis, statistics
• Manage internal and external audits
• Manage the FAS budget and the allocation to the business units and locations
• Participate in special projects (including significant transactions), as required
• Serve as the global FAS coordinator to help drive efficiencies and process enhancements across the global Financial Accounting Services team
• Foster and maintains positive relationships between cross-functional teams and the customer base to ensure effective definition of and delivery of shared services
• Work in partnership with the Alcoa Shared Service teams, leaders and HR on the People Development Program – identify, bring in and grow talent within the teams, create succession plans, assess capabilities gaps and resolve them

What we need from you:

• Degree in Accounting
• CPA preferred
• Leadership/management experience
• Demonstrable experience in Accounting, Finance or related area
• Proven experience in Shared Services
• Experience working for a global company
• Strong analytical, communications, and interpersonal skills, including comfort interacting with all levels of the organization
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Fluent in English
• Willingness to travel
