For fulfilling the position of a Travel & Expense Accountant, we are looking for a new colleague at Alcoa Shared Services Hungary in full time. Our future colleague will work in our Shared Services Center, in Székesfehérvár. As a member of the T&E team, you will be responsible for application of GL and AP expense entry modules, the accounting with its reconciliation of Travel and Expenses transactions.

Key Objectives:

  • Perform reporting, analysis and other tasks related to travel & expense and P-Card expenses in a Shared Services Organization.
  • Process business travel and P-Card expense reports utilizing the Concur Expense system.
  • Answer employee inquires, through email and phone calls in a Customer Help Center environment.
  • Performs Accounting review of all submitted expense reports for the entire bank for proper documentation and GL expense types in order to authorize them for payment processing in Concur Expense or other systems in accordance with accounting policies. 
  • Lead in investigating expense report discrepancies.
  • Any other activities relating T&E and / or P-Card activity which are demanded by FAS.
  • Monthly control: Audit low, medium and high-risk expense claims and any other reports defined by the Team Lead, the Finance Manager and/or the GPO.

Requirements:

  • Degree in finance and accounting obtained at a chartered accountant or a college or university or CPA certificate.
  • Communication and problem-solving skills with all Alcoa Locations.
  • English and Hungarian fluent language knowledge
  • Travel accounting experience.
  • Ability to work under time pressure, good decision maker.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT)
