JOB DETAILS:

• Location: Iasi, RO 
• Onsite: This role requires the student to work full time onsite throughout the duration of the intern term
• Term date: From July 1, 2026 to Sept 25, 2026

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Do you want to help improve the experiences of groundbreaking AMD products? If so, AMD
Hardware team is the right place for you. We are seeking a highly motivated student with a willingness to learn and absorb new concepts and technologies, along with a sound understanding of x86-64 computer architecture.

• You will be developing key skills that are relevant to the semiconductor industry in X86 Cores Design Verification. 
• You will be given guidance on what to do, and the freedom to plan and manage your own time to deliver upon agreed goals.
• Your progress will be regularly reviewed, and constructive feedback given to help you make the best use of your time.
• Your tasks will include documentation, coding, debugging 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• You are currently enrolled in a Romanian-based university Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
• If you have knowledge / experience with any of the following technical skills (or
  related areas) and are enthusiastic about this role, we strongly encourage you to
  apply 
• Exposure to CPU computer architectures 
• Familiarity with basic programming, data structures and algorithms 
• Exposure to OOP languages (C++ / System Verilog / etc.) 
• Exposure to Scripting languages (Perl / Python) 
• Exposure to Digital Design (VHDL / Verilog) 
• Good understanding of the faculty courses that are relevant for software development and digital design and verification.
• Passion for modern, complex processor architectures and digital design.
• Good written and verbal English
