THE TEAM

AMD's Data Center GPU organization is transforming the AI and HPC landscape. Our mission is to design and market exceptional products—anchored by our Instinct™ GPU portfolio—that power the next generation of computing in enterprise data centers, cloud, and AI environments. THE ROLE

The Business Development Manager, AI Startups will focus on identifying, engaging, and winning new end customers for AMD data center GPU solutions. This is an early-career, high-impact role supporting pipeline growth with AI startups, enterprises, and research organizations.

You will work closely with sales, marketing, and technical teams to help customers evaluate, adopt, and successfully deploy AMD Instinct™ GPUs. The role is ideal for someone who is commercially curious, technically interested in AI infrastructure, and eager to develop customer-facing skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support outbound and inbound efforts to identify and qualify new end-customer opportunities for AMD data center GPUs
  • Engage AI startups, enterprises, and research customers to understand their AI infrastructure needs
  • Assist in building and managing a healthy customer pipeline for Instinct™ GPU adoption
  • Partner with sales and technical teams to support customer evaluations, proofs of concept (POCs), and early deployments
  • Help communicate AMD's GPU value proposition to prospective customers through presentations, demos, and follow-ups
  • Track customer interactions and pipeline progress in CRM tools and provide regular status updates
  • Support marketing and demand-generation activities (events, webinars, campaigns) that drive new customer acquisition
  • Coordinate internally to ensure strong customer experience from initial engagement through deployment
  • Gather market and customer feedback to help refine AMD's go-to-market approach

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Exposure to AI, machine learning, data center infrastructure, or cloud technologies required
  • Basic understanding of GPUs or AI workloads is a plus
  • Up to date knowledge of the fast moving AI and AI GPU market places
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Demonstrated interest in the AI ecosystem
  • Ability to build internal relationships to leverage in pursuit of clients
  • Creative deal making skills

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
