THE ROLE:  

Lead a small, focused Business Operations execution team within AMD's Data Center GPU Business Unit. This role owns day-to-day operational execution across supply planning, build management, order scheduling/tracking, supply prioritization, OPN lifecycle governance, and operational excellence including cross BU alignment. This leader is accountable for streamlining processes, balancing workload across the team, developing talent, and ensuring the organization delivers reliable forecasts, clean system loads, and responsive issue resolution.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Operational Execution Leadership

  • Own daily execution rhythm for supply requests, build priorities, order scheduling, and tracking across Data Center GPU products
  • Ensure timely handling and communication of supply prioritization & related items
  • Drive resolution of order, supply, and fulfillment issues; coordinate cross-functionally to remove blockers and prevent recurrence.
  • Oversee management of product supply, ensuring proper prioritization, tracking, and disposition alignment.
  • Ensure platform alignment across other AMD BU teams
  • Ensure supply aligns with financial plans

Systems and Data Governance

  • Oversee operational system loads (including SAP-related loads) and ensure accuracy, auditability, and on-time execution.
  • Define and maintain data standards, templates, and validation checks to improve quality and process efficiency.
  • Build scalable reporting that highlights exceptions, risks, and performance to plan.

Process Excellence and Documentation

  • Document and continuously improve end-to-end processes for related processes
  • Identify inefficiencies, automate where possible, and implement standard work to streamline execution.
  • Build dashboards and KPIs to measure performance

People Leadership and Team Development

  • Coach and develop team members; set goals, provide feedback, and build a growth plan for each role.
  • Load-balance responsibilities across the team; create coverage plans and reduce key-person dependency.
  • Foster a culture of operational rigor, responsiveness, continuous improvement, and customer focus.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 10 years experience leading a business operations/ business management (hardware/semiconductor preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to translate data into operational actions and executive-ready insights.
  • Experience driving cross-functional excellence and issue resolution in fast-paced environments.
  • Proven people leadership: coaching, prioritization, workload management, and performance development.
  • Process improvement mindset with a track record of documenting, standardizing, and streamlining operations.
