THE ROLE:

The role responsible for planning and executing strategic component and channel marketing programs. The role also ensures strong communication and alignment across AMD Global Marketing, Global Component Marketing, Server & Commercial Client Channel Marketing, and Regional Marketing teams to drive growth in server‑branded and component solutions.

 

THE PERSON:

We are seeking a driven, innovative Channel Marketing Manager to support AMD's APAC Component and Channel business focusing on campaign planning, partner engagement, account enablement, and go-to-market execution.

 

The role will collaborate closely with regional sales, country teams, distributors, retailers, SIs, and OEMs to deliver impactful strategies that elevate AMD's Ryzen and Radeon platforms while driving partner-led demand generation, channel enablement, and co-marketing programs.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive APAC growth across Component, Commercial Client, and Server channel segments by developing and executing integrated regional marketing programs.
  • Support distributors, OEMs, VARs, SIs, AIBs, ODMs, retailers/eTailers, and SMB partners through joint campaigns, co‑marketing initiatives, and targeted partner enablement.
  • Strengthen AMD's Ryzen and Radeon presence across gaming, DIY, commercial, and server markets through localized campaigns, product launches, and cross-segment activations.
  • Localize global BU assets, messaging, and tools for APAC markets while ensuring consistent brand representation across partner channels.
  • Plan, lead, and execute physical/digital campaigns and regional events; coordinate with Sales and Marketing Operations to ensure smooth execution and partner alignment.
  • Track campaign performance, partner participation, pipeline influence, and ROI; generate regular reports and insights to improve program effectiveness.
  • Customize marketing programs based on partner maturity, market segmentation, and cross‑segment priorities.
  • Collaborate closely with APJ, global teams, Channel Enablement, and country marketers to support One‑APJ initiatives and integrated go‑to‑market execution.
  • Lead account-based co‑marketing with SIs, AIBs, and ODMs, supporting sell-in/sell-out acceleration and partner-driven demand generation.
  • Participate in business reviews and provide data-driven recommendations to enhance channel performance and amplify marketing impact.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in B2B/channel marketing experience environments, with proven success in partner-led demand generation, MDF usage, and go-to market execution.
  • Effective collaborator across regional marketing, sales, operations, and global teams.
  • Strong understanding of AMD's ecosystem and partners (OEMs, AIBs, ODMs, distributors, retailers, SIs).
  • Experience localizing global strategies into effective APAC partner campaigns.
  • Demonstrated ability to run marketing campaigns, both digital and physical across gaming, DIY, commercial, and server segments.
  • Skilled in campaign analytics, ROI measurement, KPI tracking, and turning insights into improvements.
  • Strong English communication skills, including storytelling and executive-ready presentations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM, marketing automation, and analytics tools preferred.
  • Experience working with global partners such as Dell, HP, ASUS, Ingram Micro, Synnex, and top SIs/VARs.
  • Knowledge of channel segmentation, partner tiers, and lifecycle marketing.
  • Strong ability to articulate marketing ROI and sales impact.
  • Highly organized, data-driven, strategic, and execution-focused.
  • Passionate about technology, market trends, and enabling partner success.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and adaptable across varying partner maturity levels.
  • Travel up to 20–30% within APAC.

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
