ABOUT THE TEAM
The GPU Virtualization team works directly with Cloud Service Providers like Google Stadia and Microsoft Azure to unleash the power of the latest graphics processors in the cloud.
We develop kernel driver software for professional, server-grade GPUs, such as AMD Radeon Pro V340, allowing a single GPU to be shared by up to 16 Virtual Machines.
Designing and developing the latest virtualization driver on multiple platforms while working in a fast growing team with industry experts.
A successful candidate will work with senior engineers on the team to develop kernel software for one of our reference solutions. (VmWare, Xen, KVM, or HyperV)
The candidate will demonstrate his/her problem-solving skills by debugging and resolving issues
discovered during testing
The candidate will be a valuable member of the SCRUM team and help with all aspects of software development process including coding, documentation, and performance analysis.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN?
A successful candidate will learn about graphics driver architecture, OS/driver/BIOS interactions and how to program our graphics chips to work with a variety of Hypervisors (VMWare, Xen, KVM, HyperV) and Operating Systems (Windows, Linux).
You will master your C, C++, OOP, and kernel mode debugging skills, while developing driver code and working with professionals experts in the graphics industry as a valued member of our team.
- Strong C, C++ and object-oriented programming skills
- Windows or Linux development experience
- Taken course in Operating System design
- Experience with software development processes and tools such as debuggers, source code control systems and profilers is a plus
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Highly motivated, self-starter with good interpersonal skills
