THE ROLE: 

The AMD Client & Graphics Systems Engineering team is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Program Manager to assume domain and project ownership across the Validation & Feature Enablement engineering organization. This role carries end‑to‑end accountability for planning and execution, driving successful delivery through integrated scheduling, proactive risk and dependency management, and disciplined status reporting and follow‑through. The Program Manager is also responsible for driving, enforcing, and continuously evolving execution processes to ensure consistent operational excellence.

The CGSE team is a key element of AMD's strategy to deliver the highest-quality, industry-leading technologies to market. As the Feature Enablement & Validation Program Manager, you will work closely with teams from pre-silicon through post-silicon to launch, helping ensure our APU and discrete GPU products reach the market on time and with high quality. You will work across teams, blending strategic and tactical experience to deliver high-quality solutions within time and budget.

KEY REPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Owns Program management of projects and multiple domain IPs
  • Drives efficient Feature Enablement & Validation engineering planning, risk assessment, change management, cross-team alignment, and execution through active leadership, clear communication, and strong organizational skills.
  • Coordinates and tracks cross-team activities, schedules, and issue status to ensure project requirements are met from product definition through production.
  • Manages budgets and assets for the Feature Enablement & Validation teams.
  • Provides frequent, concise updates to management on plans, status, and risk mitigation.
  • Enforces Feature Enablement & Validation processes and continuously drive process improvement.
  • Identifies commonalities across Feature Enablement & Validation teams and drive optimization.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Multiple, recent years of engineering and technical program management experience.
  • SoC industry experience is preferred; ability to follow up on high-level technical discussions and issue status.
  • Effective communication and strong teamwork skills, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional and global teams.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with experience driving validation schedules and risk management.
  • Proactive and forward-thinking, with a focus on preventing problems before they occur.
  • Demonstrated experience driving change and working across functions and geographies to deliver products.
  • Strong presentation skills, with experience addressing executive audiences and business teams.


ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

BASc (or equivalent) required; MASc/MEng (or equivalent) preferred. Formal project management education; PMP designation is a plus
