THE ROLE

As a Full Stack Developer on AMD's Software Integrity Team, you will support the team with the implementation of scalable technical solutions to support code scanning and software license compliance across AMD's software ecosystem. You will work on the enhancement of internal automation pipelines and integrate scanning platforms using advanced tooling and orchestration. The ideal candidate will have strong full-stack capabilities, experience in REST API and understanding of License Compliance fundamentals or willingness to gain this knowledge from the team. You will also contribute to the adoption of AI to improve automation, classification, and detection.

You are a technically driven engineer who takes ownership of delivering complex infrastructure, automation, and integration projects. You are adept at breaking down large-scale technical problems, design robust solutions, and working across systems with multiple programming languages and frameworks. You are highly organized, autonomous in execution, and thrive in team environments focused on engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions using JavaScript, TypeScript, C# and PHP
• Develop and integrate APIs with systems like GitHub, Perforce, and internal services.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Automate system tasks using scripting languages like Python, Groovy, and Bash.
• Build and optimize containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes for orchestration and scalability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and issue resolution.
• Provide technical support for platform services and internal tooling.
• Ensure software quality through comprehensive testing strategies and automated pipelines.
• Integrate various technologies into the established processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in software development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, container technologies and fundamental knowledge of Linux OS
• Proven ability to design scalable solutions and optimize distributed systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with React or other JavaScript frameworks for UI development.
• Experience with Entity Framework (C#).
• Exposure to and practical knowledge of Visual Studio Code (including plugins development).
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
• Experience with SQL programming.
• Hands on experience with source control systems such as GitHub and Perforce and practical knowledge of GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
• Experience with test automation and software quality assurance practices.
