THE ROLE:

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to join our team in Hsinchu. This critical role focuses on ASIC capacity planning, specifically managing OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test) capacity and NPI (New Product Introduction) hardware capital planning. You will be responsible for balancing complex supply-demand scenarios and managing budgetary summations to ensure seamless product delivery.

 

THE PERSON:

The ideal candidate is a proactive people with a track record of high-level execution in semiconductor operations. You should possess:

  • Strategic Problem-Solving: The ability to analyze demand vs. capacity gaps and drive aggressive mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Experience leading cross-functional owners and suppliers to meet strict supply targets.
  • Analytical Rigor: A detail-oriented approach to budgetary planning and capital expenditure (CapEx).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • OSAT Capacity Management: Lead capacity planning across OSAT partners for Assembly, Test, and System Level Test (SLT) processes.
  • NPI Capital Planning: Orchestrate NPI testing hardware capital planning, ensuring all equipment needs are forecasted and budgeted accurately.
  • Supply Gap Mitigation: Identify potential shortages by collaborating with suppliers and providing clear, actionable directions to stakeholders to close the gap.
  • Business Unit Alignment: Manage near-term NTSG BU product capacity planning to ensure alignment with corporate revenue goals.
  • Budgetary Oversight: Consolidate and report on budgetary requirements related to hardware and capacity investments for Graphic/SCBU BU

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience in Industrial Engineering/ Production planning
  • Know-how of supply chain theory and processes, operational execution & operations needs are critical.
  • Short-term Capacity Planning/Long-term Capacity Planning/CapEx planning
  • Skills in Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI
  • Strong experience with RapidResponse a plus

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or other related technical degree.
