THE ROLE:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic individual to join our DC GPU team as an Inventory and Systems Management Lead. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering, along with demonstrated experience in inventory management, lab testing coordination, and systems allocation across multiple business units (BUs). This role requires exceptional analytical skills to analyze financial impacts, forecast requirements annually, and establish and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

The successful candidate in this role will be a self-starter, self-motivated, upbeat, quick learner who is passionate about new technology in addition to being results-oriented and able to get things done. They will be able to resolve ambiguity and adapt to changes in a dynamic environment. Drawing on their engineering background, the ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator who can engage with key partners at all levels, from driving technical discussions to leading executive program reviews.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage inventory levels across multiple business units, ensuring optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and carrying costs.
  • Coordinate testing activities in laboratory environments, ensuring timely completion and accurate reporting of results.
  • Allocate systems and resources according to the needs of various business units, balancing priorities and optimizing utilization.
  • Analyze financial impact of inventory and system management decisions, identifying cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies.
  • Forecast inventory and system requirements annually, taking into account business unit needs, market trends, and technological advancements.
  • Establish KPIs related to inventory management, testing coordination, and systems allocation, and measure and report on performance regularly.
  • Lead a team of inventory analysts, lab technicians, and cross-functional team members, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, finance, and sales, to ensure alignment of inventory and system management strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve inventory and system management processes and procedures to drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to inventory management, testing, and system allocation.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience in inventory management, lab testing coordination, and systems allocation, preferably in a multi-business unit environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and financial impacts.
  • Experience in forecasting and budgeting, with a focus on inventory and system requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and measure KPIs to drive performance and accountability.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and systems preferred.

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.

PMP Certification

Austin Texas preferred but open to some Remote options
