THE ROLE

AMD is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a dynamic, fast-paced team responsible for delivering complex real estate capital projects across a global portfolio. In this role, you will lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of projects spanning office, lab, and support facilities, ensuring alignment with AMD's business objectives.

You will operate at the intersection of corporate strategy and facilities execution, managing multiple high-value initiatives while collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners. This position offers broad exposure across regions, functions, and leadership levels, and plays a critical role in supporting AMD's global growth through successful project delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead end-to-end project management for large-scale real estate capital projects including construction, renovations, lab buildouts, and tenant improvements
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, and reporting processes
  • Oversee full project lifecycle from feasibility and design through construction, closeout, and occupancy
  • Establish and maintain detailed schedules, tracking milestones and critical path activities
  • Develop, manage, and forecast project budgets while ensuring cost control and financial accuracy
  • Conduct budget analysis, variance tracking, and financial reconciliation throughout project phases
  • Review and approve vendor contracts, invoices, change orders, and procurement documentation
  • Partner with Finance and Real Estate leadership on capital expenditure planning and reporting
  • Serve as primary point of contact for internal stakeholders including business units, IT, Security, and EHS
  • Build and manage relationships with external partners such as architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants
  • Lead project meetings, design reviews, and executive updates with clear and concise communication
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to schedule, scope, cost, and quality
  • Coordinate permitting and regulatory processes across global regions
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation including contracts, permits, and change logs
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of project management standards, tools, and best practices
  • Provide status reporting and project health updates to leadership
  • Support post-occupancy evaluations and lessons-learned initiatives

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Experience managing complex real estate or construction projects in a corporate or high-tech environment
  • Background in global or multi-regional project delivery across diverse regulatory environments
  • Familiarity with tenant improvement projects and facility buildouts
  • Understanding of construction processes, codes, and design disciplines
  • Experience managing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems or technical infrastructure
  • Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office suite
  • Familiarity with AI-integrated or digital workflow processes
  • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills in fast-paced environments
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external vendors

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field preferred
  • Professional certifications such as PE, AIA, LEED, or CMAA preferred
