THE ROLE:

Operations Program Manager (OPM) is an exciting role that supports the attainment of key operational objectives of the Product Engineering Operations (PEO) organization. This is an active customer-focused and solution-oriented role in a global team that is designed to improve the performance of the organization. This role will support teams across the globe (N. America and Asia). The OPM will need to establish baseline processes, identify process and system improvement needs, develop reports that help summarize operational performance and create a cadence of activities that help drive performance improvements.  They will partner with stakeholders within and outside of the Product Engineering Operations (PEO) organization in this role and will present periodic updates to leaders in PEO.

 

THE PERSON:

Ideal candidate should have experience in Operations Management in the technology industry (managing hiring, budget, inventory, etc.), and have experience in managing programs and initiatives. The candidate should be comfortable communicating with stakeholders across the globe,  and also possess the ability to deal with ambiguity and change in a fast paced environment.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage key operational metrics for PEO.
  • Analyze metric performance and work with global teams to drive improvement in metric performance and process improvement.
  • Establish baseline processes for operational metrics.
  • Drive improvements to business processes.
  • Develop reports for operational metrics.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 5 years of operations management experience in the technology sector required.
  • Data analytics experience is required.
  • Accounting experience and experience managing a budget for multiple cost centers is preferred.
  • Familiarity with capital purchase process is preferred.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • BS in engineering required.
  • MBA required.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
  • Accounting and finance qualifications are preferred.
