Overview

AMD develops high-performance computing and visualization products to solve some of the world's toughest and most interesting challenges. As we expand across EMEA, one key focus is on the next wave of CSP's.

The Cloud Service Provider (CSP) Senior Account Manager is a leadership and strategic sales role responsible for managing the most complex and high-value Tier 2 CSP accounts. This role demands deep industry expertise, executive-level negotiation skills, and the ability to drive significant expansion within a select portfolio of clients, ensuring long-term strategic alignment between the account and AMDs imperatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Account Planning: Develop and execute sophisticated, multi-year strategic account plans that identify high-potential expansion opportunities and secure long-term contracts and commitments.
  • Executive Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain deep, trusted advisor relationships with C-level executives (CIOs, CTOs, CFOs) within the CSP organizations, ensuring alignment between their strategic business objectives and our cloud solutions.
  • Expansion & Upselling: Drive significant revenue growth through the identification and closure of complex upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Negotiation & Complex Deal Closure: Lead and negotiate long term deals with the CSP's to drive future engagement and scale.
  • Value Demonstration: Articulate and demonstrate the tangible business value, (ROI, and TCO), ensuring alignment between technical solutions and financial outcomes.
  • Client Advocacy & Escalation: Serve as the ultimate escalation point for critical client issues, marshalling internal resources to ensure rapid resolution, manage expectations, and be the voice of the customer internally at AMD.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in enterprise sales, strategic account management, or business development within the Datacentre segment with a proven track record of managing $ multi-million dollar accounts and consistently exceeding quotas.
  • Cloud Expertise: Deep understanding of the cloud computing landscape, including technical knowledge of cloud platforms and the ability to discuss complex IT architecture and strategy credibly.
  • Strategic & Commercial Acumen: Exceptional strategic thinking, complex problem-solving skills, and a high level of business and financial literacy to engage with C-suite stakeholders effectively.
  • Communication & Negotiation: Superior negotiation skills and polished executive-level communication and presentation abilities.
  • Self-Motivation: High degree of self-motivation, resilience, and executive presence with the ability to operate autonomously and prioritize effectively in a demanding environment.
  • Tools: Expertise in Salesforce and strong analytical skills for forecasting and planning.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, or a related field
