THE ROLE:

We are looking for a North America (NA) commercial sales leader to drive sales and grow market share of AMD products at Lenovo, as part of the AMD NA | Lenovo account team and field resources. This role will be the cornerstone of developing, extending and owning the AMD NA commercial sell-through/sell-out strategies and will be the focal of NA Lenovo, partner, and internal-AMD relationships and partnerships.  This sales leader will actively work to drive customer relationships and behavior to deliver on unit and revenue growth goals. Strong team, and operational leadership skills, are key to success in this role.

  • Proven familiarity, and existing relationships, inside the Lenovo NA organization, especially in sales, alliances and marketing

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be the face of AMD at Lenovo NA for commercial client, with extensive local (on-campus) Lenovo engagement, leading meetings and presentations; foster extensive relationships across Lenovo NA.
  • Define and implement sell-out strategies and quality account plans that grow revenue and market share for all commercial client (notebook, desktop, workstation) AMD products at Lenovo
  • Assess, mentor and grow Lenovo sales team to drive revenue growth and market share
  • Implement robust sales/technical support process and structure
  • Develop cross-division (cross-sell) partnerships to establish harmonious solutions for end-customers
  • Orchestrate programs, messaging, and sales enablement requirements across sales teams, BUs, regions and marketing; at Lenovo, with strategic partners, and inside of AMD
  • Drive pricing negotiations with Lenovo, partners, customers, and internal BU teams
  • Forecasting of current and future quarters, in alignment with Lenovo NA teams, and driving/aligning to the AOP targets and plans; Salesforce entry, updating and alignment to forecasts

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated success in a comparable role, building and leading winning teams
  • Strategic Experience: Understanding of CPU, GPU and NPU technologies and products, Lenovo and NA customer markets
  • Negotiation Experience: History and success of being able to negotiate complex deals
  • Partner Experience: Strong historical relationships and success influencing large MNC organizations, and working with the partner ecosystem
  • Organizational Experience: Proven efficiency working in a cross-matrix environments
  • Expert sales knowledge in relevant product categories with proven technology sales experience in a dynamic environment
  • Experience developing and executing on sales plans and programs, and leading QBRs/EBRs

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Bachelors' Degree in Business, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
