THE ROLE:
AMD seeks a passionate, collaborative leader with strong technical skills and the initiative to motivate an expert team. You will lead the development of ongoing solutions in the Artificial Intelligent Group (AIG) of AMD semiconductors. AMD's new AI Engine, integrated in various FPGA and CPUs, delivers the most cutting edge and cost-effective AI Inferencing solution and is getting widely deployed on laptops and in Data Center, Wireless/5G, Automotive/ADAS applications.
THE PERSON:
The ideal candidate has experience leading others in technical and managerial settings. You also have excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build CI/CD for AI products
- Provide ongoing technical guidance and direction for scalable infrastructure demands.
- Collaborate across organizational boundaries and multiple geographies.
- Plan, manage, troubleshoot, and deploy client/server-based applications.
- Automate workflow using Python, Jenkins, GIT, BASH, Ansible, and third-party API's
- Building containerized applications
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Prior experience Managing technical teams in AI/ML space
- Hands-on experience in a large-scale software development environment
- Expertise collaborating across organizational boundaries and multiple geographies.
- Automate workflow with tools and languages such as Python, Shell, BASH
- Experience building ci/cd pipelines using Jenkins, GHA. Working knowledge of Ansible, Dockers for Embedded and laptop software
- Experience with Linux or UNIX administration in a software development environment
- Strong operations skills to manage 24/7 CI/CD operations
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong mentoring and coaching skills
- Must be a self-starter and self-motivated
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer engineering/Electrical Engineering
