THE PERSON: Seeking a technical writer with strong time and project management skills and the ability to work with multiple deadlines and projects. Must be passionate about information structure, content, and delivery. Must work successfully with internal customers to foster positive working relationships among engineering, marketing, and product applications groups. Required:
- 5–8 years of technical writing experience in a high‑tech environment
- Proven experience managing multiple documentation projects with overlapping timelines and deadlines
- Experience working directly with subject matter experts (SMEs) across engineering and product teams
- Experience working with and enforcing multiple style and writing guidelines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; experience collaborating with global teams across multiple time zones
- Strong organizational skills, including project tracking, status reporting, and attention to detail
- Experience with DITA or other XML‑based authoring and publishing systems
- Working knowledge of Git‑based documentation workflows, Markdown, and reStructuredText (RST)
- Relevant technical background or hands‑on experience
- BA/BS in English, Journalism, Technical Communication, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience; a university‑issued certificate in technical communication is also acceptable
- Experience in the semiconductor domain or related hardware/software ecosystem
- Programming experience or scripting knowledge in Python
- Experience creating developer‑focused deliverables such as API or reference documentation
- Experience using AI tools to support technical documentation workflows (writing, editing, review, validation, or quality checks)
- Experience with Microsoft Visio or other technical illustration/graphics tools
- Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence
- Familiarity with Agile or release‑driven documentation environments
