JOB DETAILS:
- Location: Santa Clara, CA or Austin, TX
- Onsite/Hybrid: This role requires the student to work full time (40 hours a week), either in a hybrid or onsite or remote work structure throughout the duration of the co-op/intern term.
- Duration: May 18, 2026 - August 7, 2026 or June 22, 2026 – September 11, 2026
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
As a Product Management & Marketing Intern on the EPYC Server CPU team, you will gain hands-on experience at the intersection of technology, business strategy, and go-to-market execution. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams—including engineering, sales, marketing, and competitive intelligence—to support the definition, positioning, and promotion of AMD EPYC processors in the global server market.
This internship offers the unique opportunity to work on real-world projects that impact product strategy, customer engagement, and market adoption of AMD's next-generation server CPUs.
Key Responsibilities
Product Management Support
Assist in gathering and analyzing customer, market, and competitive insights to inform product roadmaps.
Support development of product positioning, messaging, and value propositions for EPYC CPUs.
Collaborate with engineering and business teams to track feature sets, workloads, and performance priorities.
Marketing & Go-To-Market Execution
Contribute to the creation of marketing collateral, sales enablement tools, and competitive benchmarks.
Support planning and execution of product launches, partner engagements, and industry events.
Analyze customer segments and use cases (cloud, enterprise, HPC, AI/ML) to identify growth opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with global sales and field marketing teams to capture customer requirements and feedback.
Participate in meetings with technology partners, OEMs, and hyperscalers.
Help track and communicate key performance indicators for product and campaign success.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (graduating December 2026 or later).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical data and market trends.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to create clear and compelling presentations.
Passion for semiconductors, data centers, cloud computing, and AI/ML workloads.
Familiarity with competitive server CPU ecosystems (Intel Xeon, ARM-based CPUs, accelerators) is a plus.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and market analysis tools; knowledge of data visualization is a plus.
