BAE Systems, one of the world's leaders in the defense industry, is seeking a full-time Program Finance Analyst based in Kingsport, TN. As a Program Finance Analyst, you will support the Ordnance Systems Inc. (OSI) business's Modernization portfolio, which includes a variety of construction, sustainment, and retrofit projects. Individual will be the main finance interface with program management/operations and will support the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting of projects of varying contract type, size, and complexity.
Responsibilities:

  • Support the project management lifecycle, including proposal support, project setup, forecast, various analysis, reporting, and closeout duties.
  • Develop project baseline budgets within the allotted contract funding.
  • Monitor cost and schedule performance against project baselines using Earned Value Management System (EVMS) techniques.
  • Generate Estimate at Completions (EAC) from program management inputs and create monthly reports based on your analyses using MS Excel, Hyperion, Integrated Program Manager, Power BI, and other tools.
  • Complete / Support monthly accruals, revenue recognition, contract data review packs, CSRs, variance analysis, billings and account reconciliations such as unbilled.
  • Apply Cost Accounting Standards and Federal Acquisition Regulation knowledge to assignments, as appropriate.
  • Support Internal / External Audits & Financial Control Framework Testing

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
  • Experience managing, controlling and reporting a programs financial performance
  • Data analysis and databases and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and independently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills

  • Graduate degree in business administration, accounting, finance or construction management
  • Experience developing estimate at completions
  • Experience in Defense/Government Contracting a plus
  • Expertise in MS Excel, Power BI, and other data analysis tools


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $64440 - $109530

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
