Accounting Clerk
Full time, Colombia
Candidate must be bilingual English/Spanish
Join a dynamic team where you'll play a key role in supporting the financial success of meetings and events. As a Project Accountant, you'll help manage project financials, prepare final billings and reports, reconcile vendor expenses, and ensure accurate and timely financial processes. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll contribute to maintaining data integrity across multiple systems while supporting commission collection, credit card reconciliations, and client billing activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys combining financial analysis, collaboration, and operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.
As an Accounting Clerk, you will
- Review system reports for accuracy (dates, revenue, status, resource assignments, etc.) and make updates as necessary
- Create jobs in SAP
- Add Project Accountant (PA) assignments to systems as needed
- Assist Director with month end revenue review process
- After month end accrual process, close jobs in SAP
About you
- Previous accounting experience in A/P, A/R, and client billing is preferred
- Bachelor or Associates Degree in accounting or related field preferred
- English proficiency to work with US market
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Accounting software experience a plus
- Travel industry/hotel experience a plus
