The World Languages Department at Bellevue College is seeking applications for an ongoing pool of applicants interested in teaching Chinese, French and ASL. New instructors could teach college-credit classes on a part-time basis at the beginning and, in some cases, the intermediate levels of American Sign Language and Chinese. Classes are expected to occur during daytime, or evening and will be conducted via face-to-face and /or via online modules.
Additionally, Bellevue College maintains a pool of qualified applicants interested in temporary teaching positions on a part-time basis. Positions may become available at any time and are typically filled on a quarterly basis.

ADJUNCT INSTRUCTOR BASE RATE:
CATEGORY-C: $3,665.83 per FTEF
- College credit courses and required high school completion courses
- Master's degree from an accredited institution in relevant field or the international equivalent
- Experience teaching at college or university level
- Experience working collegially with diverse colleagues in a collaborative and inclusive environment
- Effective oral and written communication skills
