SEASONAL GROUNDSKEEPER
Responsibilities
Job Summary:
Maintains company property and surrounding area. Cuts grass, trims, rakes leaves, cleans area, plants flowers and prunes trees or shrubs. Maintains driveways, parking lots, and walkways by removing debris, litter, snow, and ice. Performs routine maintenance on all equipment used. Performs routine, repetitive tasks, under indirect, remote supervision, following standard procedures, tools, equipment, or machinery. Must possess the ability to operate industrial lawn equipment and lift up to 50 pounds.
Following standardized procedures, under remote supervision, the incumbent performs a variety of activities to maintain company properties located in multiple geographic areas.
Travels by company vehicle (non-hazmat) to various facilities to carry out assigned duties which vary seasonally.
Cuts grass, trims, rakes leaves, cleans area, plants flowers, weeds flower beds, prunes trees and shrubs.
Maintains driveways, parking lots, and walkways by removing debris, snow, and ice.
Performs routine maintenance, changes oil, greases, sharpens blades, makes adjustments to equipment or machinery.
May, on a regular basis, be assigned to perform tasks related to Maintenance Worker duties.
High School diploma or GED and experience and/or aptitude to operate necessary equipment and machinery. While performing the duties of this job, an incumbent may be exposed to activities near moving mechanical parts, fumes, electrical power sources and outdoor weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to high. While performing the duties of this job an employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger; handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell.
