Lead the global Presales organization for BMC Helix, BMC's AI-powered service and operations management platform. Own technical sales strategy, solution architecture, and customer demonstrations that drive revenue across Service Management, AIOps, and observability deals. Partner with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to convert pipeline into closed business and accelerate enterprise adoption of the Helix portfolio.

Build, scale, and lead a global team of Solution Engineers, Solution Architects, and Presales Consultants supporting BMC Helix

Revenue Impact

Own presales contribution to ACV targets; drive technical win rates, POC conversion, and deal velocity

Solution Strategy

Define presales playbooks, demo standards, and reference architectures for Helix Service Management, Helix AIOps, and Helix Discovery

Customer Engagement

Lead executive technical conversations with CIOs, CTOs, and VPs of Infrastructure at Global 2000 accounts

Cross-Functional Alignment

Partner with Product Management on roadmap feedback, with Sales on territory planning, and with Services on transition to delivery

Enablement

Establish certification, demo environments, and continuous training programs for the Solution Engineering organization

Competitive Positioning

Develop differentiation strategy against ServiceNow, Atlassian, Splunk, Dynatrace, and Datadog

Operations

Manage presales KPIs, forecasting accuracy, RFP response quality, and resource allocation


Required Qualifications:

•       15+ years in enterprise software, with 7+ years leading presales or solutions engineering at scale

•       Direct experience with Service Management, AIOps, or observability platforms (BMC, ServiceNow, Splunk, Dynatrace, IBM, or comparable)

•       Working knowledge of agentic AI concepts and their application in enterprise IT, including AI agents, automation workflows, and LLM-powered capabilities

•       Proven track record supporting deals of USD 1M+ ACV in regulated industries (financial services, telco, healthcare, public sector)

•       Demonstrated ability to scale global teams across North America, EMEA, and APAC

•       Strong technical depth in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Kubernetes, and modern observability stacks

•       Executive presence with C-suite stakeholders; experience presenting to boards or analyst firms (Gartner, Forrester)

•       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

•       Prior experience at BMC, ServiceNow, or a direct Helix competitor

•       Familiarity with generative AI frameworks and responsible AI governance for enterprise deployments

•       Experience with subscription and SaaS transformation models

•       Background in management consulting or enterprise architecture
