Bon Secours Maryview Medical Centeris inviting anexperiencedNP to join our inpatient Hospitalist medicine team. NPs or PAs will be equally considered, and will be joining a strong team of 7 FTE Hospital MD's, 5 PRN MD's and 3 APC's. Your skill level and years of experience practicing in a hospital environment will set you apart from other candidates. Must have minimum 2 years practicing as NP or PA in an inpatient setting.Must be a true team-player, with positive attitude, love of patients and caring for those in need.

• Full time Employed/Shift-based position with guaranteed base comp
• 7 on -7 off-12 hour shifts - 182 shifts per year required.
• Schedule varies across days/nights/weekends/holidays - all shifts are shared equally by all providers on the team
• Admitter shift 12p-12a & Rounding shift 7a-7p included in scheduling
• Schedule is created 60-90 days in advance by APC team - holidaysselected early in the year and shared equally
• Hospitalist medicine -all adult/geriatric patients
• 15-18 patients per day average
• Scope of practice includes treatment of acute and chronic disease states, patient education, health promotion, and disease prevention. The APC utilizes skills of history taking, physical assessment and diagnosis to manage a wide variety of health care needs for patients.
• Qualified candidates must be Board Certified and have Virginia license
• EPIC Electronic Health Records
