As a Regional Ops Specialist, you will provide specialized operational support to Charter Schools USA (CSUSA) Procurement and Operations (PrOps) Team and all affiliated business units and schools.

How You Will Impact Education

Instruction/Education Responsibilities

Understands role as RAE Representative as evidenced within:

  • Leading by example in adherence and knowledge of the CSUSA Vision
  • Mission and Values demonstrated by his/her commitment to act in an ethical manner using behaviors that promote a team concept
  • Maintaining confidentiality of school compliance data and information
  • Exhibiting strong oral and written communication skills to effectively disseminate information to school personnel, parents, co-workers, state entities and the public.
  • Traveling to multiple states to participate and represent CSUSA in internal and external meetings.
  • Following through on duties and projects assigned.
  • Participating in and successfully completing training programs offered to increase skill and proficiency related to assignments.
  • Ensuring adherence to good safety procedures.

 

Food Service

  • Maintain oversight of cafeteria managers and staff
  • Oversee food service operations and monitor for compliance with State and Local Standards
  • Conduct onsite reviews for compliance

National School Lunch Program (NSLP)

  • Responsible for compliance with ALL NSLP rules and regulations, including daily production records, edit checks, service line procedures, and food quantities.
  • Complete monthly NSLP claim submittals
  • Organizational support for SIS integration of NSLP data
  • Review edits check records against invoicing

Job Requirements

  • An associate's or higher degree; preferred degree majors include Business Administration, Management, or Communications.
  • Prefer a minimum of five years of experience and or training in a school, public school district/company, or in school operations
  • Proficient experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proficient in Macintosh operating system
  • Such alternatives to the above requirements as RAE may find appropriate and acceptable
  • Ability to travel within the southeast United States, sometimes with little prior notice.
  • May perform other duties assigned.
