DIGITAL DESIGNER
(Position is temporary for 1 year with possibility of extension)
Scope:
The candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality digital designs for retail channels. The candidate will work with international stakeholders and will need to understand working within brand guidelines. Experience within retail marketing design and the ability to communicate with account managers and traffic managers is advantageous. The key relationship will be with our clients marketing teams, and campaign planners. Experience working with digital retail point of sale screens would be a benefit.
Experience:
Third level qualification in Graphic Design / Multimedia
Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field
Minimum 4 years commercially relevant design experience
Demonstrated experience with brand building, typography, and colour theory
Previous experience of using workflow process tools such as Workfront, would be a considerable advantage.
Responsibilities:
Engage with our traffic managers, collaborating with design team, campaign planners and other key stakeholders, to ensure content for digital retail screens is delivered to the highest standard, adhering to tight deadlines and ensuring quality work.
Monthly promo cycle artwork output
Ensure quality controls and sign off procedures with all stakeholders
Design, execution and delivery of digital marketing material, and other digital assets
Note: This position in early stages emphasizes production and operational efficiency over creative aspects, focusing on streamlining processes and ensuring quality.
Key Skills/Competencies:
Adobe Create Suite 2024: Photoshop (expert level), Illustrator (expert level), After Effects (working knowledge or higher is a plus), Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines and ensuring quality work
Ability to manage communication between onsite office and key internal stakeholders
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required
Strong communication skills and creative skills
Awareness of budget implications when creating designs
Ability to work independently and as part of a team member
Must provide a link to a developed portfolio of relevant work to be considered
