FRAUD PREVENTION SR LEAD

 

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? The Fraud Prevention Senior Lead is responsible for leading delivery of large scale enterprise-wide fraud risk initiatives. This includes overarching support of senior leadership to ensure strategic alignment and execution on priority areas of focus. This individual will be formulating strategy and driving execution end-to-end. This role serves as an advisor to business and risk partners. This role supports the translation of business priorities into fraud mitigation capabilities that balance customer experience, operational resilience, and financial risk mitigation. Experience addressing complex issues, processes, and projects, and working in a high-paced, fluid environment is required.

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute on fraud prevention strategies, diagnose issues, develop risk mitigation plans, and ensure initiatives align with corporate strategy,
  • Take accountability for multiple fraud loss lines, as appropriate, and coordinate with internal Fraud Management partner teams, Business, Risk, and vendor partners to address fraud challenges ensuring CNB operates within risk appetite.
  • Lead complex fraud risk assessments for new or changed products and channels ensuring the firm does not assume risks that exceed appetite
  • Stay abreast of the fraud risk landscape and emerging fraud risks, ensuring CNB is positioned to remediate risks
  • Serve as a leader in Fraud Management, establishing team norms, a risk aware culture, and driving a well-managed tightly coordinated operation.
  • Measure and optimize cost of fraud prevention, identify current risks and vulnerabilities, and prepare CNB for future threats/ opportunities
  • Provide executive level reporting and lead executive level meetings, clearly conveying risks and solutions
  • Manage / matrix manage other colleagues and concurrent programs and projects related to fraud prevention strategy
  • Influence and manage expectations of key stakeholders and act as a strategic advisor on key areas of focus to enable CNB fraud prevention strategy.
  • Balance multiple competing priorities and teams by providing oversight and guidance to actions of high importance and creating and maintaining cross-organizational relationships to enable success.
  • Develop and maintain robust procedures and controls for Fraud Prevention, coordinating with risk and governance teams to ensure the prevention function is well-managed.

 

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED? Required Qualifications*
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in fraud prevention or risk management in financial services or equivalent
  Additional Qualifications
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives or equivalent
  • Experience translating data into business insights and recommendations.
  • Risk management expertise across multiple lines of defense or equivalent

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? Compensation Starting base salary: $111,408 - $189,738 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
