What is the Opportunity?
As the New Accounts Manager, you will oversee all phases of the client onboarding process for RBC Rochdale, ensuring a seamless and compliant account setup. You will collaborate with Financial Advisors, Sales, Portfolio Management, and client service teams to onboard client accounts, resolve inquiries, and enhance due diligence. This role reports to upper management on process and procedure improvements, regulatory compliance, and other high level issues.
What Will You Do?
- Lead Two Client Onboarding Teams: Assist clients, Financial Advisors, and investment teams with high-level onboarding and account setup across multiple platforms.
- Conduct Training: Host onboarding meetings to educate new Financial Advisors on firm processes and service offerings.
- Ensure Compliance: Review account setups for adherence to CDD, KYC, BSA, and AML regulations. Analyze audit findings, compile documentation, and coordinate responses.
- Manage Teams: Supervise analysts in performance, training, scheduling, and morale. Address HR issues and foster colleague development.
- Optimize Processes: Evaluate and improve workflows to meet regulatory requirements, streamline operations, and handle increased workload.
- Resolve Escalations: Collaborate with Sales teams to address inquiries, escalations, and account concerns.
What Do You Need to Succeed?
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in the financial industry.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience.
- 2+ years of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Additional Qualifications:
- 5–7 years of financial industry experience preferred
- Strong leadership, detail orientation, and organizational skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated mindset with exceptional communication abilities.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? Compensation Starting base salary: $71,869 - $114,797 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
