Description

Legal Services is seeking a dedicated and organized professional to join the team as a Clerical Team Lead. In this pivotal role, you will lead a core branch operations clerk team responsible for providing essential administrative support across the branch. You will play a vital part in streamlining access control for City facilities and ensuring our day-to-day operations run smoothly. What will you do?

  • Supervise, train, and provide daily guidance to clerical staff, including performance feedback and learning plan development
  • Develop staff schedules and manage time-off requests and exception approvals
  • Process security guard contract services invoicing and verify billing accuracy using Ariba and Google Sheets
  • Manage card access requests and door clearance changes using specialized databases like POSSE and C-Cure
  • Oversee branch-wide administrative tasks such as onboarding, offboarding, and reception
  • Coordinate Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) activities, including fire warden scheduling and floor inspections
  • Support Legal Services with file management, hearing preparation, and data entry for Protection of Privacy Act (POPA) requests
  • Perform financial administrative tasks, including creating cheque requisitions and reconciling credit card statements
