The Planning and Delivery Branch is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and deliver complex technology projects that directly support police operations and public safety. This project-based role focuses on the implementation and optimization of AXON products within EPS. This role is ideal for candidates with a proven track record in delivering complex IT projects in policing or public safety environments, combining technical expertise with strong governance and stakeholder engagement skills. The candidate will be responsible for:

  • Lead the planning, execution and delivery of IT projects aligned with EPS priorities, including AXON product deployments and integrations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives and success criteria for police technology initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with EPS governance, security and privacy requirements.
  • Facilitate decision-making and accountability within project teams.
  • Provide clear reporting on project progress, risks and outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business units, technical teams, vendors (including AXON) and project sponsors.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts and financial reporting.
  • Identify, assess and document project risks and issues; develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans. 
  • Ensure projects follow EPS processes, practices, polices and that technology solutions are compatible with EPS architecture.  
  • Performing other related duties as required.
