**This posting is for one (1) Temporary, Full-Time position that may continue until December 31, 2025**  

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Change Management Specialist to provide end-to-end change management expertise from needs assessments and change management model proposals, to managing change activities on projects, including measurement and reporting. This includes designing and preparing eLearning content and instructional aids such as training manuals and handouts. Utilizing industry best practices, methodologies, and tools, the Project Change Management Specialist will help facilitate a more visible and systemic culture of change management across the organization. Responsibilities will include: 

  • Conduct impact analysis, assess change readiness, and design instructional techniques and evaluation methods. 
  • Develop, deliver, and track training programs, including eLearning and blended learning courses. Courses developed must employ instructional techniques and evaluation methods that are grounded in the principles of adult education. 
  • Design and prepare instructional aids for learners, such as training manuals, handouts, and PowerPoint presentations for courses.
  • Design and track eLearning content as stand-alone modules or pre-course work for in-person courses.
  • Create and develop change management tactical plans. 
  • Develop templates for deliverables within the Project Change Management (PCM) framework.
  • Analyze and document change management data and reporting results.
  • Collaborate with instructors, subject matter experts and other curriculum designers on the coordination, research and development of curriculum packages for trainers (course manuals detailing course overview information, lesson plans, course training standards and evaluation methods).
  • Utilize educational technologies and training tools such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), and Articulate applications.
  • Provide support for change management activities, including scheduling, communication and documentation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs, change capacity, and communication requirements.
