Fintech Subject Matter Expert


Cognizant's Digital Operations Technology Practice works with world's most exciting Digital Companies. Our work encompasses Digital Marketing, Sales Operations, Customer Experience, Partner Experience and Digital Maps.

Role Summary

At Cognizant, we are working with the world's largest Born Digital companies with significant interest in Fintech. Jointly we are incubating business operations for new products and operating models that enable global scale. We are looking for someone who can help build out and accelerate the adoption of our offerings including existing ones for traditional banks and financial institutions.

 

Role - The applicant will be hired as a Fintech Domain Expert within the Digital Operations practice

 

Title – Technology Markets (Born Digital Accounts)

Location – USA

Travel – Travel will vary depending on customer and prospect requirements.

Ability to Work with Global Teams located in North America, India, Europe.

 

Experience
Key Responsibilities

Experience in the financial services industry, credit card and payments related/ Digital Banks operations experience is preferred.

Deep knowledge of dispute processes, regulations, and payment network policies

Subject matter expertise in fraud operations including systems and workflows

Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and get results in a new space

Passion for digging deep into a subject matter area

Ability to collaborate with different teams, utilize outstanding influencing skills, and demonstrate strong senior-level/executive communication abilities.

Ability to contribute consistently and positively in a high-paced, fast-changing, and unpredictable work environment

Ability to synthesize complex topics and distill key business dynamics to senior leaders and partners

Analytical and creative problem solver with a can-do attitude and flexibility to accommodate to evolving business needs. The ability to “roll up your sleeves” and work with a client to create timely solutions and resolutions.

Ability to deliver large scale projects on-time with consistently successful results while working across departments and time zones

Solid ability to operate autonomously across multiple teams in a matrixed organization

High level of proficiency crafting high impact presentations using Keynote / MS PowerPoint to clearly articulate solutions.

Collaborative, flexible and open working style, with an ability to quickly establish trust and credibility

Experience in engaging with VP+ audiences in Fintech companies

Understanding of emerging trends in Fintech Cryptocurrencies and/or block chain technology. Financial technology, such as exchanges or trading platforms, familiarity with edge cases in application of Fintech in industries such as Retail, Restaurants, Real Estate, and Healthcare. In general curious about Fintech and an ability to explore and develop thought leadership.

Preferable: Published author in this domain and experience working with / for FinTech companies preferred

Thorough understanding of business operations challenges faced by Fintech companies, understanding talent requirements that are critical to outsourcing. Complete understanding of how to set up a Fintech Business Operations program e.g. knowledge of people costs, technology, and processes.

 

Business Solution Development Oversight – As part of sales pursuits, partner with Cognizant's Business Operations solution architects and delivery teams to create effective deal solutions.

Proposal Development - Understand customer needs and translate them into winning proposals for Cognizant and its Clients.

Revenue growth – Work with Sales Leaders to Develop Point of View and Solutions to grow our practice globally.

Review existing operations with the lens of improving towards best-in-class outcomes, benchmarking operating practices and engaging with delivery teams to improve Cognizant mindshare
