About the role
The Social Media Marketing Coordinator position can sit in either our Irvine, CA or Norcross, GA offices and is a temporary position through the end of the summer. The role will support our Marketing team with their social media outreach and other marketing duties as assigned.

Salary range: $20/HR

What you'll do

  • Develop creative and engaging social media posts primarily for LinkedIn to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Utilize Canva and other graphic design tools to create visually appealing content for social media posts, marketing collateral, and marketing campaigns.
  • Manage content calendars, schedule posts, and assist in monitoring social media channels to optimize engagement and audience interaction.
  • Assist in managing company website content.
  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating virtual and in-person events.
  • Contribute to copywriting efforts using established frameworks to craft messages that resonate with our target audience and support content strategy goals.
  • Compile reports on social media analytics and other marketing activities for the Director of Marketing to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in content marketing, social media, and digital technologies to suggest improvements and innovative approaches.

What you have

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Comfortable working in a remote environment, with the ability to attend in-person meetings in Irvine, CA or Atlanta, GA once a month.
  • Strong interest in content creation, social media, and digital marketing, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
  • Basic experience in graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to produce clear, compelling copy.
  • Proficient use of computers, including MS Office, Google Suite, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinker with a problem-solving attitude and a collaborative spirit.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and analytics tools is a plus.
