Fulton State Hospital
Fulton, Missouri

As a full time, nonexempt Pharmacy Technician with CPS Solutions LLC at Fulton State Hospital, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering (via state provided vehicle to other locations on the hospital campus), and restocking medications; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.

About the Facility: Fulton State Hospital has 440 hospital beds and is the oldest forensic public mental health facility west of the Mississippi River.  This facility has been providing mental health services since 1851 and is certified by both the Joint Commission and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. The pharmacy is open Monday-Friday from 8am to 4:30pm.  CPS has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

Schedule: This position is full time, 40 hours per week with a typical work schedule of Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm with a 30 minute lunch break.

Salary Range: $17-$21 per hour based on experience

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Missouri Pharmacy Technician license in good standing or ability to obtain license quickly-licensed required to start
  • Valid Missouri drivers license
  • Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
  • Effective communications skills; verbal and written

Hospital Requirements:

  • (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
  • MSHP/FBI Finger printing
