As a full time, nonexempt Physical Therapy Assistant  with CPS Solutions, LLC Rehabilitation Services team at  Parrish Medical Center's outpatient center in Port St. John , you will be responsible for administering Physical Therapy modalities of treatment as supervised by the staff Physical Therapist. You will also administer treatments and physical agents as directed by the staff Physical Therapist, after the PT has first evaluated the patient and assisted with restoration of patient functionality to prevent disability following injury, disease of physical disability. You will be helping patients to reach their maximum performance and level of function while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities. Physical Therapist Assistants participate in operational aspects of the department, maintain performance improvement activities within the department, and participate in CQI.   This position may also provide coverage at other affiliated locations as needed.

Schedule:  This full time, nonexempt position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week. Float to local facilities possible with mileage reimbursement

About the Facility: Parrish Healthcare Center in Port St. John, is an outpatient facility offering Endocrinology, Family Practice, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine, Podiatry and Orthopedic Surgery, as well as Urgent Care services.  CPS Solutions LLC has partnered with the hospital through its division CPS Rehabilitation Services to manage the day to day operations of the rehabilitation department. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

About the Rehabilitation Department:   Specialty services include Vestibular Rehab and hand therapy to those who are 18 year of age and older.  Department hours are Monday-Friday from 7:00am-4:00pm and as needed to provide support for Parrish Medical Center outpatient services.

Required Qualifications: 

• Associate Degree (AS) in Physical Therapy Assisting
• Required: 1 year of inpatient acute and outpatient treatment experience
• Must be licensed as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Florida

Hospital Requirements: 

• (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months 
• (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity   
• Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving immunity   
• (Flu) Influenza-acceptance or declination for hires between Oct 1st-April 30th   
• Respirator FIT Mask Test - Onsite
• Color test 
• COVID vaccination (may be required)
