Staff Pharmacist - Part Time
Alternative Health Care Solutions
San Juan, Puerto Rico

As a part time nonexempt CPS Solutions, LLC Staff Pharmacist,you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.   

Schedule: This position will work part time 20 hours per week Monday through Friday from 1:00pm to 5:00pm, specific hours may be flexible if needed.

Starting Pay: $50.00 to $54.00 an hour, based on experience. 

About the Facility: Alternative Health Care Solutions is a skilled nursing facility in San Juan, Puerto Rico. It provides medical, continuous nursing, and other health and social services to patients who are not in an acute phase of illness requiring services in a hospital.  CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

About the Pharmacy: The Pharmacy is open Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 8:00pm, and Saturday, Sunday and Holidays from 7:00am to 3:30pm.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
  • Current Puerto Rico pharmacist license active and in good standing
  • Minimum of 2 years of previous experience working as a Pharmacist in a hospital setting
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other members of CPS and hospital and pharmacy staff.
  • Must speak fluent Spanish
  • Must reside in Puerto Rico

     

Hospital Requirements:

  • (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
  • (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
  • Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
  • Hep B3 Series (or declination) 
  • (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th  
  • COVID Vaccine-Full
