We want everyone who works at CVS Health to feel empowered by the role they play in transforming our culture and accelerating our ability to innovate and deliver solutions to make health care more personal, convenient and affordable. *Position Summary* The Aetna IT Delivery organization, within CVS Health's Data, Digital, Analytics, Technology (DDAT) organization, is seeking a Conversational AI Develop to drive the overall user experience for a Conversational AI platform that is helping our members to get answers to their health insurance questions through the channel of their choice. In this role you will be responsible for implementing the conversational flows to deliver a superior user experience. This role is responsible for the implementing the conversational dialogs, partnering with product and technology partners to understand the requirements, influence features, and design. You will make an impact by: * Designing and developing AI conversations, including integrating with enterprise APIs to fulfill consumer requests * Collaborating with user interface designers and backend application integration teams to understand the mechanisms through which the conversational AI solution will be used and what is needed to fulfill intents * Collaborating with teams and other developers to design, develop, test, deploy and maintain a chatbot * Leveraging AI, NLP Technologies and cognitive machine learning to develop chatbot applications * Integrate chatbot solutions with multiple platforms * Enhancing user effectiveness of the conversational agents with the help of advanced technologies * Continuously develop knowledge of emerging technologies and analytics techniques and support the pursuit of business development opportunities * Tuning and enhancing Speech to Text models *Required Qualifications:* * 5+ years professional development experience * 1+ Years experience building AI powered chatbots from scratch using AI, ML and NLP technologies * Must have knowledge of IBM Watson Assistant with hands on experience * In depth knowledge of conversational designs, flow, and automated speech recognition, including SSML tagging for TTS * Knowledge of AI/chatbot development landscape, tools and other frameworks * Clean coding skills and best practices * Experience in CICD, Git, unit-testing and source code management * Knowledge of cloud development and deployment principles * Knowledge of Agile development and DevOps approaches * Understanding of end-to-end software development processes and business requirements *Preferred Qualifications:* * Backend (server side) development experience either in Java, node.js * Strong multi-language background and experience working with programming languages such as Python, Java, Javascript/Typescript * Experience with IBM Voice gateway and / or IBM Discovery is a plus *Pay Range* The typical pay range for this role is: $75,705.00 - $154,500.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
