As the Executive Director of Integration Platform Engineering, you play a pivotal role in overseeing the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of integration solutions critical to the organization's infrastructure.  Reporting directly to the AVP of Platform Engineering, you will lead a team of skilled engineers to ensure the seamless integration of various software systems, applications, and services. *Key Responsibilities: * *Leadership and Strategy:* Develop and communicate the engineering vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with the organization's objectives. Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Collaborate with senior leadership to define and prioritize initiatives that drive operational efficiency, scalability, and innovation. *Architecture and Design:* Define and implement robust architecture standards, patterns, and best practices. Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for enhancing capabilities and optimizing infrastructure. Collaborate with architecture teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture principles and standards. *Solution Development and Implementation:* Oversee the design, development, and implementation of solutions, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Provide technical leadership and guidance to resolve complex technical challenges and ensure successful project delivery. Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions with existing and new applications, systems, and services. *Performance Optimization and Scalability:* Establish performance monitoring and optimization processes to ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of platforms. Implement automation and orchestration strategies to streamline provisioning, deployment, and management. *Security and Compliance:* Collaborate with security teams to define and enforce security standards, policies, and procedures. Ensure solutions comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards for data privacy, security, and governance. Implement proactive measures to detect and mitigate security vulnerabilities and risks within infrastructure environments. *Required Qualifications and Skills* * Extensive experience (15+ years) in integration platform engineering, infrastructure management or related roles, with at least 8 years in a senior leadership capacity * 5+ years of deep expertise in middleware technologies, such as enterprise service bus (ESB), message-oriented middleware (MOM), application servers, API gateways, and integration platforms. * Strong understanding of software development methodologies, DevOps practices, and agile frameworks. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. *Preferred Qualifications* * Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives, manage budgets, and drive organizational change. * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. * Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare) with a focus on security and compliance. *Education:* * Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.  A combination of relevant education and experience will also be considered. *Pay Range* The typical pay range for this role is: $175,100.00 - $334,800.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.    In addition to your compensation, enjoy the rewards of an organization that puts our heart into caring for our colleagues and our communities.  The Company offers a full range of medical, dental, and vision benefits.  Eligible employees may enroll in the Company's 401(k) retirement savings plan, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan is also available for eligible employees.  The Company provides a fully-paid term life insurance plan to eligible employees, and short-term and long term disability benefits.
